My Story

Growth doesn’t come from an easy life—it comes from the decision not to quit.

I was born in Washington, D.C., and raised in rural North Carolina, where my grandparents instilled in me the values of faith, hard work, personal responsibility, and perseverance. Those early lessons became the foundation that continues to guide both my life and my leadership.

I hold a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership, and my career spans law enforcement, campus public safety, private security, and state government. Through these roles, I’ve led in high-pressure environments, managed complex operations, and supported public safety at scale—experiences that have shaped my practical, results-driven approach to leadership.

Throughout my journey, I’ve celebrated successes, navigated setbacks, and made difficult decisions that reinforced one core truth: leadership is not defined by titles or circumstances, but by how we respond when life doesn’t go as planned.

From both my academic training and real-world experience, I developed The TREE Method™—a leadership and personal growth framework grounded in one simple but transformative principle:

Take Responsibility. Endure Everything.

The TREE Method bridges theory and practice. It’s not about pretending life is fair—it’s about applying disciplined leadership, choosing accountability over excuses, resilience over resignation, and purpose over fear. Like a tree, we all face storms, but the strength of our roots determines whether we merely survive or continue to grow.

Today, I bring this message to individuals and organizations through speaking, writing, and leadership development—equipping others with the mindset and tools to lead with integrity, build resilience, and unlock their full potential.

Whether you’re here to explore leadership strategies, engage with my work, or invite me to speak to your organization, I’m honored you’re here.

My goal is simple: to help you strengthen your foundation, lead with purpose, and understand that your past does not define your future.

Welcome to The TREE Method™.

Take Responsibility. Endure Evolve. Grow.
